Awards - Half Marathon

For many race participants, crossing the finish line is the reward for the effort expended. For the more competitive athlete, here is added incentive to finish ahead of the pack.

  • $850 in total prize money
  • $100 bonus for breaking a race record (male open, female open, male master, female master)
  • Medals for all finishers manufactured by Middlebury's own Maple Landmark Woodcraft
  • First place finishers in the following divisions receive a cash award and a Danforth Pewter medal:
    • Male & Female open
    • Male & Female master
    • Male, Female, Mixed relay teams
  • Individual Awards:
    • 1st, 2nd, 3rd M/F Open (39 and under) ($100/$50/$25 each)
    • 1st M/F Masters (40 and over) ($100 each)
  • Relay Team Awards:
    • 1st Men's Team: $100 team
    • 1st Women's Team: $100 team
    • 1st Mixed Team: $100 team
  • Age Group Awards: Top 3 M/F finishers in each group receive a 250ml bottle of Vermont maple syrup: 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Awards - Fun Run

  • NEW for 2019! $300 in total prize money
    • 1st, 2nd, 3rd M/F (any age) ($75/$50/$25 each)
  • NEW for 2019! Expanded age group awards
    • Top M/F finishers in each group received a 250 ml bottle of Vermont maple syrup: 12 and under, 13-18, 19-39, 40+
  • Medals for all finishers manufactured by Middlebury's own Maple Landmark Woodcraft

The awards ceremony will take place at approximately 11:30 a.m.
