Awards – Half Marathon

For many race participants, crossing the finish line is the reward for the effort expended. For the more competitive athlete, here is added incentive to finish ahead of the pack.

  • $850 in total prize money
  • $100 bonus for breaking a race record (male open, female open, male master, female master)
  • Medals for all finishers manufactured by Middlebury’s own Maple Landmark Woodcraft
  • First place finishers in the following divisions receive a cash award and a Danforth Pewter medal:
    • Male & Female open
    • Male & Female master
    • Male, Female, Mixed relay teams
  • Individual Awards:
    • 1st, 2nd, 3rd M/F Open (39 and under) ($100/$50/$25 each)
    • 1st M/F Masters (40 and over) ($100 each)
  • Relay Team Awards:
    • 1st Men’s Team: $100 team
    • 1st Women’s Team: $100 team
    • 1st Mixed Team: $100 team
  • Age Group Awards: Top 3 M/F finishers in each group receive a 250ml bottle of Vermont maple syrup: 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

The Race Committee may substitute gift certificates of equal or greater value in lieu of cash prizes in cases where NCAA eligibility rules may be compromised.

Awards – Fun Run

  • Medals for all finishers manufactured by Middlebury’s own Maple Landmark Woodcraft
  • Fastest male and female runners receive a 250ml bottle of Vermont maple syrup in both categories–12 and under, 13+

The awards ceremony will take place at approximately 11:30 a.m.
